SteelTune
A tuner app built for steel guitar and good for any stringed instrument: pedal steel, lap steel, resophonic, Weissenborn, slack key, and electric and acoustic guitar. It comes with the sweetened tunings steel players already use, lets you adjust any string in half-cent steps, and lets you swipe between your tunings like photos.
Getting started. Allow microphone access when SteelTune asks, then play a string. If you said no by mistake, open your phone's settings, find SteelTune, and turn on its microphone access.
Using a cable. SteelTune also works through a small audio interface plugged into the phone. It switches to the interface on its own when one is connected.
Your tunings. Everything you add or edit is kept on your phone. Tap the stack icon at the top left to add tunings from the library, make your own, or change their order.

Join the private beta. The beta is iPhone only for now; the Android version will be available soon. On your iPhone, in this order:
1. Get TestFlight first. It's Apple's free app for testing new versions. If it asks for a code, skip that.
2. Then come back to this page and tap Join the SteelTune beta. SteelTune will appear in TestFlight, ready to install.
