SteelTune privacy policy

SteelTune does not collect, store or share any personal information.

Microphone. SteelTune listens through the microphone only to measure the pitch of what you play, and only while the app is open. The sound is analysed on your phone as it arrives. It is never recorded, saved or sent anywhere.

Your tunings and settings. These are stored on your phone and in its backup. Deleting the app deletes them.

No accounts, ads, analytics or tracking. SteelTune has no sign-in, shows no ads, and contains no analytics or tracking code. It does not connect to the internet.

Sharing a tuning. If you choose to share a tuning, the link contains only that tuning: its name, notes, offsets and display settings. Where it goes is up to you.

App stores. Apple and Google handle purchases, downloads and crash reports under their own privacy policies. If you allow it, they may share crash reports with the developer; these contain no personal information.
